DOVIA New Orleans is pleased to present Volunteer Management for the Generations

Learn more about how to manage/recruit/retain volunteers based on the needs and wants of their age-group!

Whether you work with teenagers, the elderly or anyone in-between, each generation has different outlooks and expectations. Learn to get the best out of your volunteer by managing for their age. We will discuss the differences between the 3 basic volunteer groups: Elderly, Baby Boomers and Gen-Y.

This is a hot topic for all organizations as the workforce prepares for the great Gen-Y shift. Get to know not only about those you work with now, but also those you may work with in the future and be prepared!

Peggy Mendoza, Executive Director of City Year New Orleans and Angela Jouette, Director of the Medical Reserve Corps in Lake Charles, will be two of the featured speakers

If you would like to pay member rates and you are not a current member, please go to: www.dovianeworleans.org and you can join us online! Full membership information is available at our website.

We have only 20 slots available for this workshop. Please register early!

If you have any questions, send Susan Delle Shaffette an email at dovianolamail@yahoo.com. Membership information will be distributed at workshops.
